Explore the parts of Tempo that keep your day connected.
01 / Fast documentation
An assessment grounded in today’s visit.
Document today’s subjective and objective. Generate an assessment informed by saved subjective text, exercise dosing and progression context, then review and refine it while the visit is still fresh.
- Flowsheet-first notes, evaluations and progress notes
- Timed units and Medicare modifiers calculated from your chart
- Assistive drafting and pre-sign review, with you in control

The exercises you chart can become the program your patient takes home.
02 / Program as you document
Chart it once. Carry the program forward.
Build the exercise session as you treat. Keep dosing and effort beside the work, then copy the exercises into the home program without starting another list.
- Exercises, dosing and RPE in the note editor
- Copy a session into the home program
- Treatment and home programming in one workflow

|---|---|---|
| Sit-to-stand | 3 × 10 | 6 |
| Step-ups, 6 in | 3 × 8 each | 7 |
| Hip hinge, dowel | 2 × 12 | 5 |
The session you document becomes the starting point for the home program.
03 / Prescribe the home program
Build a progression. Not just a list of exercises.
Give your programming the same attention as your treatment. Organize phases, weeks and sessions, dial in the dose, and build reusable templates that you can adapt to each patient.
- Phases and week-by-week progression
- Exercise dosing and reusable clinic templates
- A weekly workbook and one QR code for the home program
| Exercise | Sets | Reps | Load (lb) |

Ready for your patient
Their program. On their phone.
Scan, exercise, log progress.
One program carries from the builder to the handout and the patient’s phone.
04 / Home programs & RTM
Keep the plan in reach between visits.
Give patients a home program they can open on their phone. Review logged activity, sets, reps and pain alongside RTM episode tracking, so the work between visits stays connected to the clinic.
- Phone-friendly exercise programs, no app to install
- Patient activity and adherence in the clinic workflow
- RTM episode tracking and monitoring worklists

Balance updated
Your biller works from the care already documented by your team.
06 / Schedule & intake
Start with the day. Stay connected to the chart.
Appointments, check-in, authorizations and intake belong together. Give the front desk the context to keep the day moving, then open the chart when it is time to treat.
- Day and week views with visit details at hand
- Eligibility and authorization checks in the patient workflow
- Referral and insurance extraction, reviewed by your team
The appointment leads into the same patient chart your therapist uses.
For the whole team
Keep therapists, front desk, billing and owners on the same page.
Out of the chart, back to the patient.
- Flowsheet-first daily notes with dictation and an assistive draft you can accept or ignore.
- Units and modifiers are derived, not typed. The pre-sign review runs before the note locks.
- Progress-note cadence and cert windows are tracked for you, visit by visit.

Questions
The things clinics ask first.
Is Tempo HIPAA compliant?
Tempo is a business associate to every clinic that uses it and signs a Business Associate Agreement before any patient data is loaded. Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest, every write is audit-logged, every query is scoped to your clinic and enforced server-side, and sessions time out on idle. Our own subprocessors, AWS and the clearinghouse, are each covered by their own BAA.
Does the AI write my notes?
The AI assists with your notes: it can draft or reword a section, summarize progress, and flag inconsistencies before you sign. You review its suggestions and stay in control of signing and billing. It runs on Claude through Amazon Bedrock inside Tempo's own AWS account, with processing covered by the AWS Business Associate Agreement.
How does Medicare compliance work?
The 8-minute rule, pooled timed units, GP/KX/CQ/CO modifiers, progress-note cadence and certification windows are computed from what you chart. They show up in the note and on the schedule, not in a separate compliance module you have to remember to open.
Do you have templates for my specialty?
Note templates are per clinic and editable by your admins, with a workspace to build and preview them before they go live. Orthopedic outpatient is the deepest today because that is where the founder practices. Pelvic, neuro, sports and vestibular clinics can bring their own outcome measures and section structure; ask on the demo call and we will build the first one with you.
Can we migrate from our current system?
Patient demographics and insurance import from a standard export. We work through the rest of your migration with you on the demo call — what you need to carry over depends on the system you are leaving.
What does training look like?
Onboarding is hands-on with the founder, who is a practicing physical therapist. Therapists, front desk and billing each get their own walkthrough, because each of them lives in a different part of the product.
What does it cost?
Simple per-clinic pricing, quoted on the demo call once we know your provider count and payer mix. No long-term contract required to start.
Do we own our data?
Yes. Your clinic's records belong to the clinic. Patient records are never hard-deleted, and you can request a full export at any time.
Built in the clinic

The workflow a clinic deserves.
